Lawn Mower Trade-in Event

We have officially scheduled our next event! FREE electric mower for residents within the boundary who trade in their old gas mower.

Packets of the attached Fresno AB 617 Lawnmower Trade-in event flyers will be mailed to all CSC resident members.  Please share the flyer with your friends and neighbors and encourage them to reserve their mower right away.

The public can scan the QR code on the flyer and immediately fill out their reservation form online. Individuals without access to the internet can call the District at 559-230-6000 for help completing the reservation form.

Proposed Plan Amendment in the City of Fresno: September 28 Meeting

The Fresno City Council Agenda for their September 28 meeting includes an item regarding the Plan Amendment. The comment letters attached as Exhibit J include the District’s comments to the City regarding this project.

Update from Caltrans Regarding South Fresno State Route 99 Corridor Project

Any comments made on the draft EIR (Environmental Impact Report) will be addressed in the final EIR. Caltrans will send copies of the Final EIR to anyone who made comments as well as making it available online and at the Caltrans District Office located at 1352 W. Olive Avenue, Fresno CA 93728. Caltrans still needs to finish the QA/QC (quality assurance/quality control) process and then get into legal review so we don’t have an exact date when that will be available. Chapter 6 of the DEIR (draft Environmental Impact Report) does list all of the agencies and groups that the DEIR was sent to. In addition, the owners of 40 properties identified as potentially being directly impacted by the project, as well as to those individuals who submitted comments on the Notice of Preparation were sent a notice of availability.

Paquetes con volantes para el evento de intercambio de cortacésped Fresno AB 617 adjuntos se enviarán por correo a todos los miembros residentes del Comité. Favor de compartir el folleto con sus amigos y vecinos y anímelos a reservar su cortacésped de inmediato.

El público puede escanear el Código QR del volante e inmediatamente llenar su formulario de reservación en línea. Las personas sin acceso a Internet pueden llamar al Distrito al 559-230-6000 para obtener ayuda para completar el formulario de reservación.

Enmienda del Plan Propuesto en la Ciudad de Fresno: Reunión del 28 de septiembre

La Agenda del Concejo Municipal de Fresno para su reunión del 28 de septiembre incluye un artículo relacionado con la Enmienda del Plan. Las cartas de comentarios adjuntas como Anexo J incluyen los comentarios del Distrito a la Ciudad con respecto a este proyecto. Actualización de Caltrans Sobre el Proyecto del Corredor de la Ruta Estatal 99 al Sur de Fresno

Cualquier comentario hecho sobre el borrador del Informe de Impacto Ambiental (EIR, por sus siglas en inglés) será abordado en el EIR final. Caltrans enviará copias del EIR final a cualquier persona que haya hecho comentarios y también lo pondrá a disposición en línea y en la Oficina del Distrito de Caltrans ubicada en 1352 W. Olive Avenue, Fresno CA 93728. Caltrans todavía necesita terminar el proceso de Control de Calidad (QA/QC, por sus siglas en inglés) y luego obtener en revisión legal, por lo que no tenemos una fecha exacta de cuándo estará disponible. El Capítulo 6 del borrador del EIR enumera todas las agencias y grupos a los que se envió el borrador EIR. Además, se envió un aviso de disponibilidad a los propietarios de 40 propiedades identificadas como potencialmente afectadas directamente por el proyecto, así como a aquellas personas que enviaron comentarios sobre el Aviso de Preparación.
