We’re so excited to share that the Shafter AB 617 Passenger Vehicle Repair and Replace programs are now open! 

Interested in participating in our Passenger Vehicle Replacement program? Own a 2006 or older high polluting car that you’re willing to give up? Let us help pay to REPLACE it with a newer, cleaner car! Funding is now available from the Valley Air District to help replace your older, high-polluting vehicle with a newer plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle. Qualifying residents within the Shafter AB 617 boundary can get up to $20,000. For more information, please visit: https://ww2.valleyair.org/grants/drive-clean-in-the-san-joaquin/replace/. 

If you have questions or need assistance, Valley Clean Air Now (Valley CAN) is hosting an upcoming vehicle replacement application workshop to assist interested applicants. ¿Interesado en participar en nuestro programa de Reemplazo de Vehículos Personales? ¿Tiene un automóvil del año 2006 o más antiguo altamente contaminante que esté dispuesto a entregar? ¡Déjenos ayudarle a pagar su REEMPLAZO con un automóvil más nuevo y menos contaminante! Ahora hay fondos disponibles del Distrito del Aire del Valle para ayudar a reemplazar su vehículo antiguo y altamente contaminante con un vehículo híbrido enchufable  o eléctrico más nuevo. Los residentes que califiquen dentro del límite de Shafter AB 617 pueden recibir hasta $20,000.
