Pesticide Registration and Evaluation Committee (PREC) Meeting

DPR is extending an invitation to the CSC to attend the Pesticide Registration and Evaluation Committee meeting this Friday, May 17^th. DPR and other agencies will discuss the first 1,3-Dichloropropene regulation and a seasonal study they are working on. Statewide Pesticide Application Notification System

As DPR shared, they will not be conducting a notification system beta test in Kern County prior to launch of the statewide system. After discussions with Kern County over the last several months, they were unable to find a path forward for a beta test before moving to final system development and anticipate the launch of the statewide pesticide notification system in the first quarter of 2025. DPR extiende una invitación al Comité para asistir a la reunión del Comité de Registro y Evaluación de Pesticidas este viernes, 17 de mayo. DPR y otras agencias hablaran sobre la primera regulación de 1,3-Dicloropropeno y un estudio estacional en el que están trabajando. Sistema Estatal de Notificación de Aplicación de Pesticidas

Como compartió el DPR, ellos no llevarán a cabo una prueba beta del sistema de notificación en el condado de Kern antes del lanzamiento del sistema estatal. Después de conversaciones con el condado de Kern durante los últimos meses, no pudieron encontrar una manera de avanzar para una prueba beta antes de pasar al desarrollo final del sistema y anticipar el lanzamiento del sistema estatal de notificación de pesticidas en el primer trimestre de 2025.
