Events
Engaging the public throughout the development and implementation of AB 617 will be paramount. The District plans to host a series of workshops, public meetings, and community forums to educate the public, yet more importantly, to solicit suggestions and feedback on a wide variety of issues, including allocation of funds, identifying communities for potential enhanced monitoring and action plan development.

Good afternoon Stockton CSC,
As you recall, at the Technical Advisory meeting a couple weeks ago, the CSC members in attendance discussed the need to gather technical experts for providing feedback and guidance on certain CERP measures. While the District has expertise in many areas, we know that the CSC members are experts, too! We are looking for your contacts, suggestions, and feedback on the CERP incentives measures where technical advice might be necessary for implementation.
The attached form has the District’s thoughts, based on our initial meeting, but we want to hear from you. Please fill out the attached form and tell us by Friday, June 11, 2021: (If you can’t open Excel, reference the attached PDF and note your suggestions via email.)
There are several programs (i.e. LG.1 Replace Residential Lawn and Garden Equipment) where the technical component is well established (replace a gasoline unit with an electric unit), so a subcommittee or technical advisor might not be as helpful as it would be for other, newer programs (i.e. IAQ.1 Air Filtration in Schools). Similarly, subcommittees might be intended for in-depth discussions about CSC-driven implementation (i.e. UG.1 Urban Greening), where regular CSC meetings might be able to tackle more streamlined measures (i.e. RB.1 Residential wood burning replacement).
Thank you again for your participation.
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please reach out to the District at AB617@valleyair.org or call 559-230-6000 and ask to speak to someone with the AB 617 program.
