Good afternoon Fresno CSC,

Attached is the draft December 14 CSC meeting agenda, created in consultation with the agenda setting committee and our community co-host for this month. As requested, we have invited Caltrans staff who oversee the project discussed during the last CSC meeting (along highway 99 in the community boundary) to attend as guest speakers. The majority of the agenda will be spent discussing the project’s Environmental Impact Report and answering CSC members’ questions. In particular, Caltrans is interested in hearing your thoughts and ideas concerning greenhouse gas mitigation.

Although Caltrans has indicated they will not extend the formal comment period past December 3 in response to the CSC’s request, a summary of the results of your comments and issues discussed from the December 14 CSC meeting can be captured and included in Chapter 4 – Comments and Coordination in the final environmental document. Of course, written comments received by December 3, 2021, along with Caltrans’ responses to those comments, will also be included in the final environmental document.

**FOR THOSE WHO NEED A SPANISH VERSION OF THE CALTRANS DOCUMENT**

CSC members (or other members of the public) who need the document in Spanish must request the translation no later than December 3, 2021. Those who request the translation will then receive it once it is available and will have the same opportunity to provide written comments. Again, the request to receive the document and have the allotted time to comment in Spanish must be received no later than December 3, 2021.

Adjunto está el borrador de la agenda de la reunión del Comité el 14 de diciembre, creado en consulta con el comité de planificación de la agenda y el co-anfitrion comunitario de este mes. Como fue solicitado, hemos invitado al personal de Caltrans quien supervisa el proyecto discutido durante la última reunión del comité (a lo largo de la autopista 99 en el límite de la comunidad) para asistir como oradores invitados. La mayoría de la agenda se usará para hablar sobre el Informe de Impacto Ambiental del proyecto y contestar las preguntas de los miembros del Comité.
