Engaging the public throughout the development and implementation of AB 617 will be paramount. The District plans to host a series of workshops, public meetings, and community forums to educate the public, yet more importantly, to solicit suggestions and feedback on a wide variety of issues, including allocation of funds, identifying communities for potential enhanced monitoring and action plan development.

Compartiendo el siguiente mensaje de parte de la Junta de Recursos del Aire de California (CARB, por sus siglas en inglés).
CARB is hosting online public workshops on July 11 and July 18 (led in Spanish) to share your comments on the recently released AB 617 Draft Blueprint 2.0. The draft Blueprint outlines the strategy to reduce air pollution from toxic air contaminants and criteria air pollutants across the State. CARB is required by law to update the strategy every five years. In 2018, CARB's governing Board adopted the first Blueprint to reduce air pollution in disadvantaged communities in California. The final proposed draft will be presented to CARB's governing Board in September 2023.
You can also share your ideas on this draft version of the Blueprint 2.0 via public docket until July 31, 2023.

CARB realizara talleres públicos en línea el 11 de julio y el 18 de julio (en español) para compartir sus comentarios sobre el recientemente publicado borrador del Plan Marco 2.0 de AB 617. El borrador del Plan Marco describe la estrategia para reducir la contaminación del aire por contaminantes tóxicos del aire y contaminantes de criterio del aire en todo el Estado. CARB está obligada por ley a actualizar la estrategia cada cinco años.
