AGENDA REVIEW

Please find the attached draft agenda, based on the feedback we received during the agenda-setting meeting, for the next Arvin/Lamont CSC meeting on February 22. Additional feedback on the draft agenda and suggestions on topics, timing and structure are always welcome. Please email comments to us at AB617@valleyair.org by Wednesday evening, February 15.

The final agenda, which will be sent out the week before the next CSC meeting, and other meeting materials will be available on the Arvin Steering Committee Meetings webpage.

ADDING COMMUNITY CO-LEADS

As announced in December, Gustavo Aguirre Jr. will no longer serve on the CSC. Byanka Santoyo (Arvin Resident) is still a co-lead. Last month, CSC members expressed interest in supporting replacing Gustavo’s role with a new co-lead.  As a reminder, co-leads are community-selected and help the CSC by providing necessary background materials for committee members, developing meeting agendas with District, identifying appropriate meeting locations, and coordinating with the meeting facilitator ahead of meetings.

If you are interested in the role of Co-lead, would like to know more information, or you would like to nominate someone on the CSC, please RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL BY FEBRUARY 16.

The CSC will vote on a new co-lead during our next CSC meeting on February 22^nd.

Adjunto está el borrador de la agenda, basado en los comentarios recibidos durante la reunión de planificación de la agenda, para la siguiente reunión del Comité de Arvin/Lamont el 22 de febrero. Comentarios adicionales sobre el borrador de la agenda y sugerencias sobre temas, plazos y estructura siempre son bienvenidos. AGREGAR CO-LÍDERES DE LA COMUNIDAD

Como se anunció en diciembre, Gustavo Aguirre Jr. ya no formará parte del Comité. Byanka Santoyo (Residente de Arvin) sigue siendo co-líder. El mes pasado, los miembros del Comité expresaron interés en apoyar el reemplazo del rol de Gustavo con un nuevo co-líder. Como recordatorio, los co-líderes son seleccionados por la comunidad y ayudan al Comité proporcionando los materiales de referencia necesarios para los miembros del comité, desarrollando agendas de reuniones con el Distrito, identificando lugares apropiados para las reuniones y coordinando con el facilitador de la reunión antes de las reuniones.
