Hello Arvin/Lamont CSC,
We are excited to share this press release from the California Air Resources Board on their unanimous approval last night of the AB 617 Arvin/Lamont Community Emissions Reduction Program. The Board expressed their overwhelming support for the program and the collaborative work continuing to be done by the Valley Air District and the Community Steering Committee.
This approval was the culmination of the CSC’s hard work across 19 meetings and we thank each and every member for providing their expertise, guidance, and time. We especially wanted to thank our Community Co-leads, Gustavo Aguirre Jr. and Byanka Santoyo, for providing their leadership through this process and to those who came out to yesterday’s meeting to give public comment.
