Engaging the public throughout the development and implementation of AB 617 will be paramount. The District plans to host a series of workshops, public meetings, and community forums to educate the public, yet more importantly, to solicit suggestions and feedback on a wide variety of issues, including allocation of funds, identifying communities for potential enhanced monitoring and action plan development.

Good morning Valley Air District team!
FFSJ, Little Manila, and Catholic Charities have been working with Stanford and Santa Clara University to help with the technical analysis of the AB 617 process; more specifically on organizing all the air quality information in a way that is easily digestible for the community.
The students have wrapped up on their work this quarter and we'd like to give them a chance to report out on what they did. We also will have residents sharing their experience with poor air quality. We'd like to share an invitation to the virtual community event next week (April 14th, 2021) to the Stockton CSC members. If you could please share out the email template and flyers attached, that would be great!
