Stockton CSC: Outreach Subcommittee Meeting Summary 6/20
Hello Stockton CSC,
For those that couldn’t attend the Outreach subcommittee meeting on Friday, June 20, we would like to share updates with the CSC via email. Please see below for the latest outreach updates.
Clean Air Rooms Outreach
- Direct mailer was successful and prompted lots of residents to sign up. Will revisit mailer concept in the Fall/Winter.
- District has implemented targeted CAR posts on NextDoor every 2 weeks, to help encourage residents to sign up.
- District will continue to partner with agencies, such as Reinvent South Stockton and the Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin, to help distribute District air quality information.
Upcoming Outreach Events
- Stockton Outreach Subcommittee Event Tracker – Stay in the know with all events happening in the Stockton AB 617 Area
- Saturday, June 28th, Lawnmower Trade-in + Tune-In Tune-Up Event
- District planning to capture video, photos and interview at the event, with plans to make a highlight video
- Working with Mayor Fugazi and Vice Mayor Lee to share event details
- District working with Stockton Unified School District on a short promo piece, highlighting the Zero-Emission Landscaping Equipment (ZELE) grant program.
