Stockton CSC: October Standing Updates
Hello Stockton CSC,
Thanks to all who made our October CSC Meeting! Please see below for standing updates and we’ll see you Wednesday, November 6th for our final CSC meeting of the year.
District
- CERP Implementation & Outreach Updates: In October’s meeting, the CSC reached consensus to move forward with Little Manila Rising’s (LMR) urban greening and vegetative barrier tree project proposals. We are excited to see this work be implemented in the community and will continue to work closely with LMR and the CSC to share progress updates. The District also shared updates on the Clean Air Rooms program, passenger vehicle replacement measure and outreach efforts in the Stockton community. - Clean Air Rooms Program: As requested by the CSC, we are sharing the Stockton AB 617 Clean Air Rooms program flyer. A bilingual program flyer is attached to this email and we will also mail hard copies to the CSC. If you would like to receive more flyers, please reply to this email and we’d be happy to send those over. We appreciate the CSC for the outreach in the community!
- Upcoming Valley CAN Passenger Vehicle Replacement Workshop 10/21
Valley CAN is hosting its next weeknight workshops to assist interested applicants on Monday, 10/21. Below are details of the next workshop. Please see flyer attached and share with your networks.

We are excited to announce that the Port of Stockton is holding its 3rd annual back to school clothing and supplies drive for students at Washington Elementary! This is a great opportunity to support our local school! Please see attached flyer for details.

Any time Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8 am-12 pm or 1 pm-5 pm
What They Need:
New or gently used clothing (preferred jeans and polo shirts)
Shoes – must be new
Sizes:
Students range from kindergarten to 8th grade
Adult sizes will also be accepted (for parents in need)
Supplies:
Notebooks, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, scissors, glue sticks, Kleenex

CARB recently put out a request for application for their newest round of community air grants. The deadline to apply is November 1st and virtual workshops are being held to assist interested applicants. The final workshop will be help on Tuesday, October 8th, 4-5:30pm.
