Stockton CSC: November Standing Updates
Hello Stockton CSC,
Thanks to all who made our November CSC Meeting! Please see below for standing updates and we’ll see you Wednesday, February 5th for our next CSC meeting.
District
- Clean Air Rooms Update: In October’s meeting, the District shared updates on the Clean Air Rooms program and proposed a program expansion to reach more residents in the Stockton boundary. Based on feedback during the meeting, we will set a target for the Clean Air Rooms measure in February to assist members to make a decision at the 6 month check-in in May when we revisit this topic. - Upcoming Regulatory and Enforcement Subcommittee (1/23): We appreciate all the feedback shared at the October meeting on future topics for the next Regulatory and Enforcement subcommittee. We will be sending out a calendar invite soon for the next subcommittee meeting on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4-5pm.
- Agenda-Setting Meeting (1/9): As mentioned in October’s CSC meeting, we will plan to have an agenda-setting meeting on January 9, 2025 from 3-4pm. We encourage the CSC to attend to share any suggested topics for the February CSC meeting.
San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG)
The District is sharing the message below on behalf of SJCOG.
Each year, the San Joaquin Council of Governments conducts an Unmet Transit Needs (UTN) assessment report to determine any unmet public transit needs that may exist in San Joaquin County. The UTN assessment ensures that all unmet transit needs that are "reasonable to meet" are met before funds are expended for non-transit uses, such as streets and roads. Please take the UTN survey to voice those bus trips you need but are not currently provided and/or scheduled within San Joaquin County!
