The Stockton AB 617 Passenger Vehicle Replacement program has recently opened and Valley CAN is hosting weeknight workshops to assist interested applicants. Below are details of the next workshop. Please see flyers attached and share with your networks.

The District held its first Community Clean Air Day event in Downtown Fresno at the Convention Center on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR)
DPR released the proposed modifications to the proposed regulation for the statewide pesticide application notification system. Please find links to more information below. We have opened a public comment period through August 1, 2024 and have multiple ways to collect comment, including through our online platform, SmartComment, by email and at public hearings.

California Air Resources Board (CARB)
Hello! We wanted to share a few items from CARB and some upcoming events!
(Update #1) CARB has issued a news release (English only) today announcing a newly launched online portal that makes key information about California Climate Investments easier to access to learn more about funding opportunities.
(Update #2) The Office of Community Air Protection will be presenting two items to our Board at the next scheduled public meeting, set for July 25th at 4 PM (it may continue to July 26th at 9 AM). This includes a staff presentation on the annual progress report on overall AB 617 implementation and a panel representing community members and air districts, where the Board will hear from representatives who will share implementation highlights and opportunities to address remaining challenges.
The public may submit public comments to the board during the meeting during the meeting no later than Monday, July 14, 2024.

(Update #3) There will be a public workgroup meeting on July 16th, 2024 at 5-7 PM on the Clean Transportation Incentives Funding Plan Development Process which explains how CARB will spend money on projects related to zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) and improving air quality. The announcement and link to register can be found here (in English) (En Español). The meeting will be held virtually on Zoom.
(Update #4) CARB is hosting a public meeting for the Assembly Bill (AB) 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee (EJAC) on July 18th, 2024 at 1-5 PM. The meeting is open to the public and includes a public comment period. The announcement and link to register can be found here (English only). The meeting will be held in-person in Sacramento and virtually on Zoom.
