Engaging the public throughout the development and implementation of AB 617 will be paramount. The District plans to host a series of workshops, public meetings, and community forums to educate the public, yet more importantly, to solicit suggestions and feedback on a wide variety of issues, including allocation of funds, identifying communities for potential enhanced monitoring and action plan development.

Hello,
The District is soliciting proposals from eligible entities to implement Urban Greening and Vegetative Barriers projects in the Stockton Community boundaries. Both Request for Proposals will each provide a total grant amount of up to $1,000,000 to the selected applicant(s) that can demonstrate the ability to efficiently and effectively implement urban greening projects by working with the community to reduce emissions and to provide several key co-benefits. Please see below for application materials.
Solicitation for applications will be open October 3, 2022 - November 17, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.
The District will host an informational meeting to address questions from applicants interested in submitting a proposal for the Stockton AB 617 Urban Greening and Vegetative Barriers Programs on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11 a.m.
