Engaging the public throughout the development and implementation of AB 617 will be paramount. The District plans to host a series of workshops, public meetings, and community forums to educate the public, yet more importantly, to solicit suggestions and feedback on a wide variety of issues, including allocation of funds, identifying communities for potential enhanced monitoring and action plan development.

Good afternoon Stockton Community Steering Committee,
The District is pleased to share with you the Stockton Community Air Monitoring Plan here. We would like to acknowledge and thank the CSC who worked hard to collectively recommend monitoring locations and provide valuable input on monitoring objectives. Please take the time to review this document and provide us with any feedback/comments you may have by November 5, 2020.
As mentioned in previous CSC meetings, the District will work with landowners and property managers on finalizing site agreements and logistics for deploying the air monitoring equipment when it becomes available. The District is hoping to commence mobile van air monitoring sometime next month. We will continue to regularly update the committee on the status of monitor deployment and reporting. Updated information, including real-time monitor data when it’s available, will be found on the Stockton community air monitoring page located here.
Thank you!
