The next Trees Subcommittee meeting will be Tuesday, June 21 at 4:00 pm. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss updates to the Urban Greening Request for Proposal (RFP), receive additional subcommittee feedback on the remainder of the RFP, as well as preview next steps with the RPF. During the last Trees Subcommittee meeting, we reviewed the first half of the RFP and several updates have been incorporated including:
- Clarifying language on urban greening reducing exposure to emissions
- Applicants obtaining letter of commitment or agreement with property owners
- Applicants taking into account community air monitors when selecting locations
- Applicants demonstrating ability to effectively implement urban greening projects i.e. past project experience, resume (noted in scoring criteria)
