Thank you to everyone who attended our June CSC meeting! We appreciate your participation and the thoughtful discussion. Below are a few follow-up items and resources from Tuesday's in-person meeting.

• School Air Filtration Program:

Attached is list of schools within the AB 617 boundary that the District has reached out to and have not yet participated in the School Air Filtration Program. Please see the attached document for more information.

• Additional Grants and Incentives:

During Tuesday's meeting, several community members asked whether there are additional funding opportunities that can be combined with existing grant programs, including incentives and educational material about heat pumps and mini splits. The District is working on these materials and will share them once available.

• Fresno Unified School District- Electric School Buses

• During Tuesday’s meeting, the District mentioned a new project underway through WattEV in the Fresno boundary to support the deployment of electric heavy-duty truck technology. Please see below for a project description and let the District know if you have any questions:

WattEV, the nation's leading provider of heavy-duty electrification services and charging infrastructure, celebrated the grand opening of its seventh heavy-duty electric truck charging depot off Highway 99 and Chestnut Ave at the end of June, creating a key link between the ports of Oakland, Stockton and inland freight hubs in the northern San Joaquin Valley.

The Fresno WattEV charging depot is the first of four sites planned to enable zero-emission truck freight transport in Northern California. These depots will serve as hubs for zero-emission freight hauling between the Central Valley and the Port of Oakland, with fleets able to lease 500-mile-range Tesla Semi trucks from WattEV's growing fleet rather than purchasing the vehicles outright. Fresno’s public charging depot features seven MCS megawatt chargers, enabling charging times of 30 minutes or less, and 15 single-cord 240kW CCS chargers. By expanding access to both charging infrastructure and electric truck rentals, projects like this help reduce emissions from heavy-duty freight, improve local air quality, and make it easier for small and medium-sized fleets to transition to zero-emission technology without the significant upfront cost of purchasing new trucks. WattEV, el principal proveedor de servicios de electrificación para transporte de servicio pesado e infraestructura de carga para vehículos eléctricos en Estados Unidos, celebró a finales de junio la inauguración de su séptima estación de carga para camiones de servicio pesado eléctricos, ubicada cerca de la autopista 99 y Chestnut Avenue. Esta nueva estación representa un enlace clave entre los puertos de Oakland y Stockton, y los centros de distribución de carga del norte del Valle de San Joaquín.

La estación de carga de WattEV en Fresno es la primera de cuatro instalaciones planificadas para impulsar el transporte de carga con camiones de cero emisiones en el norte de California. Estas estaciones funcionarán como centros para el transporte de mercancías entre el Valle Central y el Puerto de Oakland. Además, las flotillas podrán arrendar camiones eléctricos Tesla Semi con una autonomía de hasta 500 millas a través de la creciente flotilla de WattEV, en lugar de comprarlos.
