Fresno AB 617 Lawnmower Trade-in and Tune-In Tune-Up Event - August 23, 2025
Hello Fresno CSC,
We’re excited to announce a combined Tune-In Tune-Up and Lawnmower Trade-in Event taking place in Fresno on Saturday, August 23, 2025. This event has been made possible thanks to the efforts of the Fresno CSC, and we want to ensure that all CSC members who wish to participate have the opportunity to do so.
The Lawnmower Trade-in Event registration will open Friday, July 18th. If you are interested in attending, we strongly encourage you to register as soon as possible, as space and inventory are limited. Please feel free to share the information below with your friends, family, and anyone who might be interested in one or both of these programs (see flyers attached)!

*Cesar Chavez Blvd was previously named Kings Canyon Rd.*
Lawnmower Trade-in
Interested in replacing your old gas/diesel-powered lawnmower with a new electric lawnmower? Residents within the Fresno AB 617 boundary can get a FREE electric Stihl lawnmower by making a reservation prior to the event and trading in their old gas mower on August 23! See details below.
- Reserve your new electric lawnmower: Visit valleycan.org/mower or call (559) 500-0246
- If interested, we encourage you to sign up right away, as inventory is limited for the event
- Resident MUST bring an old mower to trade in at the event
- *Mower must be drained of fluids (fuel/oil)
- Only 1 mower exchange per address; supplies are limited
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) staff will be available to assist residents at the event
- No out-of-pocket expense – straight exchange for a new, cordless electric STIHL mower
- Not interested in the above mentioned STIHL brand mower? Fresno residents in the boundary can purchase any brand of new electric mower on their own, turn in their old mower at a participating dismantler and complete the CGYM (Clean Green Yard Machines) application for up to $500 rebate.
Tune-In Tune-Up (Passenger Vehicle Repair Program)
Think your vehicle is in need of smog related repairs? You can get a free emissions test and a repair voucher if you need emissions related repairs.
- Expect a 2+ hour wait, gates may open as early at 6:30 am
