Hi Shafter CSC,

Thank you to all of you who completed the survey regarding upcoming meetings! Based on the survey feedback, here are the results for the upcoming meetings:

New time for agenda-setting meetings

Starting in the new year, the agenda-setting meetings will be at 4 p.m. on the Mondays following the regular CSC meetings. A new reoccurring calendar appointment will be sent out next month.

No December 12^th meeting

The December regular CSC meeting has been postponed. Our next meeting will be on 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2023. A new reoccurring calendar appointment will be sent out next month. The District will mail out info on the December CERP Measure tracker, air monitoring weeklies and other info to members who have requested paper copies.

Vegetative Barriers Subcommittee

The date for the next Vegetative Barriers Subcommittee meeting will be 4-5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2022. A calendar appointment for this meeting will be sent out shortly.

Draft Agenda Review

Please find the attached draft agenda, based on the feedback we received during the agenda-setting meeting, for the next Shafter CSC meeting on November 14. Additional feedback on the draft agenda and suggestions on topics, timing and structure are always welcome. Please email comments to us at AB617@valleyair.org by Sunday evening, November 6. The final agenda, which will be sent out the week before the next CSC meeting, and other meeting materials will be available on the Shafter Steering Committee Meetings webpage.

Co-Host Needed

We’re also looking for a co-host for the next CSC meeting. If you would like to volunteer or have questions about being a co-host, please reply to this email as soon as possible.

¡Gracias a todos los que completaron la encuesta sobre las próximas reuniones! Basado en los comentarios de la encuesta, estos son los resultados de las próximas reuniones:

Nuevo Horario para Reuniones de Planificación de Agenda

A partir del nuevo año, las reuniones de planificación de agenda serán a las 4 p.m. los lunes siguientes a las reuniones regulares del Comité. Se enviará una nueva cita recurrente en el calendario el próximo mes.

No habrá reunión el 12 de diciembre

La reunión de diciembre del Comité ha sido pospuesta. Nuestra próxima reunión será de 5 a 7 p.m. miércoles, 9 de enero de 2023. El próximo mes se enviará una nueva cita de calendario recurrente. El Distrito enviará información sobre el Informe de Medidas del CERP de diciembre, los semanarios de monitoreo del aire y otra información a los miembros que hayan solicitado copias impresas.

Subcomité de Barreras Vegetativas

La fecha de la próxima reunión del Subcomité de Barreras Vegetativas será de 4 pm a 5 pm, lunes, 28 de noviembre de 2022. Próximamente se enviará una cita del calendario para esta reunión.

Revisión del Borrador de la Agenda

Encuentre el borrador de la agenda adjunto, basado en los comentarios que recibimos durante la reunión de planificación de agenda, para la próxima reunión del Comité de Shafter el 14 de noviembre.
