Shafter Chamber of Commerce Drone Light Show 7/3
Hello Shafter CSC,
We are happy to share that the Shafter Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a 3rd of July Independence Day Celebration with a drone light show this year as an alternative to fireworks. This effort was made possible by the District’s Clean Alternative to Fireworks Pilot Incentive Program that provides incentives to fund firework alternatives, such as drone or laser shows, in lieu of large-scale fireworks displays celebrating the 4th of July. Due to fireworks harmful impact on air quality and public health, the District encourages families to enjoy professionally organized drone or laser shows, which offer a safer, more environmentally responsible way to honor Independence Day.

Nos complace compartir que el Shafter Chamber of Commerce organizará una Celebración del Día de la Independencia el 3 de julio con un espectáculo de luces con drones este año, como alternativa a los fuegos artificiales. Este iniciativa fue posible gracias al Programa Piloto de Incentivos para Alternativas Limpias a los Fuegos Artificiales del Distrito, que ofrece incentivos para financiar alternativas a los fuegos artificiales como espectáculos de drones o láseres en lugar de exhibiciones de fuegos artificiales a gran escala para conmemorar el 4 de julio. Debido al impacto negativo de los fuegos artificiales en la calidad del aire y la salud pública, el Distrito alienta a las familias a disfrutar de espectáculos de drones o láseres organizados profesionalmente, los cuales representan una forma más segura y ambientalmente responsable de celebrar el Día de la Independencia.
