We’re excited to share that the District and Valley CAN will be hosting a combined Lawnmower Trade-in + Tune-In Tune-Up Event in Arvin on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Thanks to the overwhelming popularity and high demand from last year’s event in Lamont, the Lawn Mower Trade-in Event is almost at full capacity. These events are made possible through the hard work of the Arvin/Lamont CSC, and we want to make sure that everyone on the CSC who wishes to participate has the opportunity to do so. If you are a CSC member who has not yet registered for the event and are interested in trading out your old gas-powered lawn mower, please see below.
Lawnmower Trade-in
Are you a CSC member interested in replacing your old gas-powered lawnmower with a new electric lawnmower?
· Reserve your new electric lawnmower by calling Eric Salas at (559) 230-6143
· Residents MUST bring an old mower to trade in at the event (mower must be drained of fluids)
· Only 1 mower exchange per address; supplies are limited
Tune-In Tune-Up (Passenger Vehicle Repair Program)
Think your vehicle is in need of smog related repairs? You can get a free emissions test and a repair voucher if you need emissions related repairs.
· Expect a 2+ hour wait, gates may open as early at 6:30 am

Nos complace compartir que el Distrito y Valley CAN estarán organizando un evento combinado de Intercambio de Cortacéspedes y Tune-In Tune-Up en Arvin el sábado, 8 de febrero de 2025. Gracias a la gran popularidad y alta demanda del evento del año pasado en Lamont, el Evento de Intercambio de Cortacésped está casi a su máxima capacidad. Estos eventos son posibles gracias al gran trabajo del Comité de Arvin/Lamont, y queremos asegurarnos de que todos los miembros del Comité que deseen participar tengan la oportunidad de hacerlo. Evento de Intercambio de Cortacéspedes
¿Es usted miembro del Comité y está interesado en reemplazar su cortacésped antiguo de gasolina por uno cortacésped nuevo eléctrico?
· Reserve su nuevo cortacésped eléctrico llamando a Eric Salas al (559) 230-6143
· Los residentes DEBEN traer un cortacésped antiguo para intercambiar en el evento (El cortacésped debe estar vacío de líquidos (combustible/aceite))
· Solo se permite un intercambio de cortacésped por dirección; el suministro es limitado
Tune-In Tune-Up (Programa de Reparación de Vehículos Personales)
¿Creé que su vehículo necesita reparaciones relacionadas con el smog? Puede obtener una prueba de emisiones gratuita y un vale de reparación si necesita reparaciones relacionadas con las emisiones
