We’re excited to share that the Vegetative Barriers Request for Proposal is now available! If you know of anyone interested in applying, please feel free to share the information below.
The District is requesting proposals from eligible entities to implement Vegetative Barriers projects in the Arvin/Lamont AB 617 Community. The Vegetative Barriers Request for Proposal (RFP) will provide a total grant amount of up to $486,133.56 to the selected applicant(s) that can demonstrate the ability to efficiently and effectively implement greening projects by working with the community to reduce emissions and to provide several key co-benefits. Proposals are due by October 9, 2026 at 4:00 PM.

El Distrito está solicitando propuestas de entidades elegibles para implementar proyectos de Barreras Vegetativas en la Comunidad AB 617 de Arvin y Lamont. La Solicitud de Propuesta (RFP, por sus siglas en inglés) de Barreras Vegetativas proporcionará un monto total de subvención de hasta $486,133.56 al o los solicitantes seleccionados que puedan demostrar la capacidad de implementar de manera eficiente y efectiva proyectos de ecologización urbana al trabajar con la comunidad para reducir emisiones y brindar varios co-beneficios claves. Las propuestas deben presentarse a más tardar el 9 de octubre de 2026 a las 4:00 PM.
