• Lawnmower Trade-in Event

We are excited to share a special opportunity with the Arvin/Lamont community. Residents who live within the Arvin/Lamont AB 617 boundary are invited to participate in the upcoming Lawnmower Trade-In Event in Shafter on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Please note that this event is being offered as an additional opportunity for Arvin/Lamont residents and will not replace a future Lawnmower Trade-In Event planned specifically for the Arvin/Lamont community. Event details are provided below.

If you are interested in attending, we strongly encourage you to register by June 21^st, as space and inventory are limited. Please feel free to share the information below with your friends, family, and anyone who might be interested in attending (see flyer attached)!

California Air Resources Board (CARB)

• We’re excited to invite you to Session #1 of the Peer‑to‑Peer (P2P) Learning Series, a space for people involved in the Community Air Protection Program to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other.

These sessions are interactive and open to Community Steering Committee (CSC) members, air districts and CARB staff, Community Air Grants (CAG) grantees, and others working to improve air quality in their communities.

Session #1 will focus building connections and strengthening cross-CSC learning. We’ll start with a brief presentation highlighting statewide themes from the previous P2P meeting, followed by interactive discussions designed to support collaboration and shared learning.

• Evento de Intercambio de Cortacéspedes

Nos complace compartir una oportunidad especial con la comunidad de Arvin/Lamont. Los residentes que viven dentro del límite de la comunidad AB 617 de Arvin/Lamont están invitados a participar en el próximo Evento de Intercambio de Cortacéspedes en Shafter el sábado, 27 de junio de 2026.

Tenga en cuenta que este evento se ofrece como una oportunidad adicional para los residentes de Arvin/Lamont y no reemplazará un futuro Evento de Intercambio de Cortacéspedes planeado específicamente para la comunidad de Arvin/Lamont. Los detalles del evento se encuentran a continuación.

Junta de Recursos del Aire de California (CARB, por sus siglas en inglés)

• Nos complace invitarte a la Sesión #1 de la Serie de Aprendizaje Entre Pares (P2P), un espacio para que las personas involucradas en el Programa de Protección del Aire Comunitario se conecten, compartan experiencias y aprendan unas de otras.

Estas sesiones son interactivas y están abiertas a miembros de los Comités Directivos Comunitarios (CSC), distritos de aire y personal de CARB, beneficiarios de las Subvenciones Comunitarias de Aire (CAG), y otras personas que trabajan para mejorar la calidad del aire en sus comunidades.

La Sesión #1 se centrará en crear conexiones y fortalecer el aprendizaje entre CSC. Comenzaremos con una breve presentación destacando los temas estatales de la reunión P2P anterior, seguida de discusiones interactivas diseñadas para apoyar la colaboración y el aprendizaje compartido.
