Hello Shafter CSC! 

Agenda Review

Please find the attached draft agenda, based on the feedback we received during the agenda-setting meeting, for next month’s Shafter CSC meeting on August 9. We heard the committee’s request that the Kern County Ag Commissioner be placed on the agenda. Due to a scheduling conflict, he won’t be able to attend next month’s meeting. However, he has committed to being on the agenda and available to answer questions during the September 13th meeting. 

Additional feedback on the draft agenda and suggestions on topics, timing and structure are always welcome. Please email comments to us at AB617@valleyair.org by noon on Thursday, July 29.

Co-Host Needed

We’re also still looking for a co-host for the August CSC meeting. If you’re nervous, don’t be! We’ll prep you for your co-hosting role. If you would like to volunteer or have questions about being a co-host, please reply to this email as soon as possible.

Revisión de la Agenda

Adjunto está el borrador de la agenda, basado en los comentarios recibidos durante la reunión de planificación de la agenda, para la reunión del Comité de Shafter del próximo mes el 9 de agosto. Escuchamos la petición del Comité Directivo que el Comisionado Agrícola del Condado de Kern sea puesto en la agenda. Debido a un conflicto de programación, el no podrá asistir la próxima reunión. Sin embargo, él se ha comprometido a estar en la agenda y estar disponible para contestar preguntas durante la reunión del 13 de septiembre.
